ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwife)

ANM, an abbreviation for Auxiliary Nursing Midwife is a diploma course in medical health sector. Realizing the need and understanding the importance of learned and trained professionals in the sector, the students are given proper knowledge and training towards child and mother health care. This is one particular area that has always required special attention and understanding and is thereby complied in the form of this diploma course.

Girls who chose to be qualified ANMs can chose to do so in departments like maternal and child services, MCH, RCH, Sub Center, PHC, CHC. They will later have a choice to chose their place of work (urban or rural).

Hostel & Other Facilities

Well-furnished separate hostel facility for boys and girls is available We understand that the most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so strive to make the transition as smooth as possible providing comfortable, Safe and homely set-up within the hostel. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light to guide the students and to monitor the day to day management of the hostels each hostel has dedicated warden (M/F).

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Course Duration Certification Age Limit
10 + 2 (In any discipline with atleast 40 percent marks) 2 Years UP State Medical Faculty,
Lucknow		 17 -30 years
(On or before 31st of December)

Note: Student should complete the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
